We are currently living and working in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand. We have started a church in our home and teach English as volunteers.
Our sending church is Mountainbrook Community Church in San Luis Obispo, California, and we are apart of the greater Vineyard body here in South East Asia.

I taught in Nakhon Si Thammarat from 2007-2010. I just came back to Texas in April. I really wish I would have know you guys were there! I was one of the only Christians I knew of during my time there, and it was a very hard struggle at times (one I didn’t always win, unfortunately). I’m so glad to see you guys doing such good work there. If you’d like, I can put you in touch with some of the people at my former school in the city (Sri Thammarat Suksa School, or AMC). There is also an orphanage in Nakhon that people volunteer at sometimes – http://nakhonorphanage.weebly.com/. No one checks that website anymore, but I can put you in touch with some people if you are interested.

Hi Brent,
It would have been nice to meet you when you were here. Thanks for letting me know about the orphanage. We’ve talked about trying to visit and possibly volunteer, but we weren’t sure where it is located. Sunday morning doesn’t work for us but perhaps we could visit on another day =)
